Funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR), this 4-year project aims to collaborate with Indigenous communities across Canada to co-create a Mental Health Literacy Curriculum Resource with information specific to the voices and needs of Indigenous youth, elders, knowledge keepers and community members.
Why we are passionate about this project:
According to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), mental health and mental wellness is a balance of the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional. We are thrilled to partner with Indigenous researchers, communities, elders, knowledge keepers, and youth to develop a Curriculum Resource that meaningfully incorporates Mental Health Literacy concepts with Indigenous ways of knowing and healing.
